Wellness Writing

Wellness is not defined by physical health alone. The state of well-being, or being well is the sum of many facts. The creative exercise of writing merges truth with story bringing voice to unspoken words.

Memoir Writing

Memoir is defined as being an account of a finite portion of time in one's life. Unfolding through story a significant turning point; lessons learned from positive or negative occurrences. A text crafted to be thought-provoking and insightful.

CWWA

The Canadian Wellness Writing Association is a resource for people looking to participate in their own healing. Writing as a therapeutic tool geared to assist people with illnesses, emotional and physical blocks, is essentially an old practice that has gained renewed interest.

For many it is a gift of time where they create a space for themselves to release pent up frustrations, worries, fears and regrets. Or a time and place to safely explore ideas, ignite wishes and rekindle dreams. A place where one can discover how to create calm in the midst of upheaval and create a sense of peace and comfort when faced with trauma and daily despair.

In the true vein of self help, wellness writing offers people a unique and private source to create clarity, confidence and a sense of calm.
